During Pope Francis' Wednesday audience for the faithful, I witnessed a curious and pleasant episode: The Pope, after finishing greeting the faithful in the main corridor of the courtyard of San Damaso, found himself in front of the road closed with barriers, while on the other side the faithful called him to bring him closer, since the Pope could not get close, he asked the Swiss guard who was there to watch to be able to pass. But immediately afterwards both the guard and the gendarmes explained to the Pope the reasons for the closure, which are of security to prevent the pope from approaching, the people (very numerous) can create assemblies and put their health at risk.
